Novello Labs LLC (“Novello Labs”, “we”, “us”) is a software company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit novellolabs.com or email us.

The short version

This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no analytics or advertising trackers. We don’t build profiles of visitors, and we never sell personal information. If you email us, we use your message to reply to you — nothing else.

Information we collect

• When you email us. If you write to info@novellolabs.com, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to put in the message. We keep it so we can reply and keep ordinary business records.
• Server logs. Like almost every website, our web host automatically records technical details of each visit: IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. We use these only to keep the site running and secure, and to diagnose problems.

We do not ask for, and this site does not collect, payment details, government identifiers or health information.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracking, so there is no cookie banner to click through.

Third parties

• Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served by Google. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request information. This is handled under Google’s own privacy policy.
• Our web host. The company that hosts this site processes the server logs described above on our behalf.
• Our email provider. Messages you send to us are handled by our email provider, as with any email.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

How long we keep things

Server logs are kept for the short period our host retains them. Email correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for the enquiry or project it relates to, and for our business records afterwards. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

Your choices and rights

Write to info@novellolabs.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights under Nevada law, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the UK and EU GDPR — including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We don’t sell personal information to anyone, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you are welcome to ask us anything about your data.

Children

This site is meant for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please don’t send sensitive personal or health information to us by ordinary email.

Work we do for clients

This policy covers our own website only. Any data we handle while building or running software for a client is governed by our written agreement with that client, and the client remains responsible for it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
